Despite the cold weather Ben has managed to to find a way to stay warm by keeping active!

Going for a walk....

With the warmer weather yesterday we thought we would get out of the house for a bit so we took a trip to the library with the boys.


When we got back Seth wanted to take Ben for a walk with the weather being so nice. I ran inside to get a blanket for Andrew, assuming I would return to Ben strapped in to our new fancy stroller or wagon to walk around the block. Instead, I came outside to Seth "taking Ben for a walk".

Or maybe it was Ben taking Seth for a walk.

I guess this is what your life resorts to, when you don't have pets.... Regardless Ben had an awesome time roaming the streets of Ashburn. Thank you uncle Jon for such a great gift!

How I Met My Brother

Here is the story of how I met my brother, Andrew. It started out when he was just a tiny guy in Mommy's tummy. I called him "baby" and kissed her tummy often...

When he made his debut last week, Grandma and Pop-Pop brought me to the hospital to meet him. There were tears of joy from everyone as we were so happy to finally be together as a family!

Then there was the homecoming... he was entering MY territory now!

I admit, he may have gotten some of my good looks....

One thing is for sure, we both love our Mommy!

While we left during different seasons, we both wore the same outfit home!

All in all, I think we're going to be the best of buds!! I love you AJ!

Happy Birthday Sarah! We can't wait for you to meet our newest addition to our family!!

The moment we were waiting for....

Saturday night was quite an adventure for the Sinclairs! I wanted to spend the day with the family as it was one of the last weekends before AJ's arrival (I had a c-section scheduled to deliver Andrew at 39 weeks on January 15th). We decided the best place for us to get our 'quality time' was walking around the mall.... It was my first adventure out of the house, really, since I was put on bed rest at 34 weeks. I started feeling 'not right' during our stroll and I should have suspected something when I had absolutely no appetite and let Seth finish off my milkshake! This picture was taken of Ben and Daddy the day before!

That night around 1:30 in the morning I started having contractions, and at 2:15 woke Seth to let him know this could be it. By 3:00 am my contractions were on top of one another and I reluctantly made it out of the house! We called our friend Cyndy to man the fort until Seth's parents could arrive and take over watching Ben. When we arrived at the hospital around 3:45 am I was already 9 CM dilated and ready to push! My water broke and I was immediately prepped for surgery. It was all surreal and happened so fast...

At 4:47am on January 4th Andrew James arrived into this world, and the dynamics of our family would change forever!

One good thing about my early arrival... Mommy was only 30 when she delivered me!! Happy 31st Birthday Momma - love you!!

We Welcome Our Newest Addition!!

I would like to be the first to introduce to you my brother, Andrew James 'AJ' Sinclair. Andrew was born almost 3 weeks early on January 4th, at 4:47 am and weighed 7 lbs and was 19.5 inches long. A very quick labor was a surprise to all, and a wonderful birthday present for Grandma & Mommy!!
