Lake Greenwood 2012

Lake Greenwood is always a great time!  The boys were ESPECIALLY excited for the awesome train table/train set Grandmom & Pop-pop had gotten them and set up in the playroom! Despite this being where they spent most their time I didn't capture a picture of the enjoyment!

We enjoyed some great times on the boat, wake boarding, tubing, and fishing.

And the boys got to go bouncing, bowling, and play in the arcade.  They also got to the train museum too!

Thomas loved bowling too!

Sadly, Thomas came down with another ear infection, but he took it in stride.  And Elmo helped.

And of course Seth and I got to sit back and relax for a bit too.  Can't remember the last time we got to to do this.  Maybe last year?!  And we also got to share some time with Sarah & Casey which was nice!

We also had (one of my favorite parts of the trip!!) a stop on the way home... in Christainsburg, VA!  We made it over to the VT campus which was great to see, even if it was only for a few minutes!

Hilton Head 2012

We took our family vacation a little earlier this year!  We did things differently and broke up the trip, stopping in Fayettsville for the evening which allowed for an earlier arrival and less "are we there yets?!"

Thomas immediately took to the beach.  He loved the sand and the ocean.  He also made himself right at home by snagging our 'spot' each morning and enjoying some snacks.

Ben and AJ got into building sand castles and racing their trucks.

As always we made the most of our time by biking, going to the arcade, pool time, Harbor Fest, and dinning out.

The boys enjoyed their first round of golf - albeit Thomas didn't make things easy by grabbing their clubs/balls at any chance he got!

The trip was an overall success (despite our near death experience while being caught in a hurricane leaving the beach by bike!) It was a great trip and we're looking forward to next year - it can only get better from here, right?!
