Egg Hunt!

Today we took the boys up to the area high school for their HS fundraiser.  They held a great egg hunt with lots of moon bounces, animals, games, and food!  It was really cold out but the kids had a great time regardless.  Definitely something we will plan on attending in the future!

Thomas Turns Two!!

Busy boys!

This year the boys have been extra busy!!  Between Tumbles for Thomas, basketball for Ben & AJ, gymnastics, and swim lessons the boys have really enjoyed being active.  Also, it's been great for my sanity!

Ben especially has made great progress with swimming.  He's learned to tread water has started to swim.  AJ has come a long way - while he is still nervous about getting his face wet he is comfortable dunking his head.  And Thomas - well I should have known he would have no fear!  He jumped off the side, fully submerged himself and asked for more.  I think he is the fish in the family ;-)

Bath time with Thomas is always the highlight of my night.  Not only is he super adorable but it means he's about to go to BED!!

Snowquester - the biggest let down of 2013

We have anxiously been awaiting the BIG STORM that was estimated to deliver 12-18 inches.  It snowed alright but it was mostly wet and not the best for playing.  Luckily we got the kids out for a little bit so not all was wasted.

 

We had ourselves a modern day Christmas Story - Thomas could hardly move and kept screaming "I'm stuck!!" but he loved it none the less.  After all, it was his first time in the snow!

Babysitting fun!

Last weekend Uncle Jon & Aunt Cori came over to babysit while we got out to enjoy a FABULOUS meal that they had gifted us with at the Ashby Inn.  I'm not sure who was more excited - the kids or us!  

The boys had a blast and as typical Uncle Jon style he had built an entire fort to keep everyone entertained!!

Thanks Uncle Jon and Aunt Cori.  Can't wait until our next adventure!!!
