My Friend the Bee

I have a new pal these days and his name is Mr. Xavier A-Bee-Bee. We're pretty tight though- he lets me call him 'B' and is all smiles to my wet kisses.

Ben Welcomes Reed Alexander

Ben welcomes another pal to his friendship circle! Reed Alexander was born December 22 at 1:47 am weighing in at 8 lbs 10 oz. Congrats to mom and dad, Courtney and Jason Alexander!

Diaper Head

Mommy and Daddy like to give me a "Diaper Hat" from time to time before they change me. I usually like this, but I feel like I may be taking on the persona of George Washington!

Take Your Baby to Work Day

I went to visit Daddy last week at work and I was a big hit with the ladies. The consensus is that I look like Grandpop Sinclair.

It's Been a Hard Day's Night

I was out partying with my buddy Owen yesterday- we zonked out before we hit the road.

It resulted in me ended up sleeping like a log last night! I didn't get up once during my slumber- Mommy had to come wake me at 7:30 this morning to give me my morning breakfast!

Afterwards I relaxed in my PJs with a nice cup of tea in my Benjamin Bunny mug (courtesy of my pal Connor) and read the morning paper.

Me and Santa!

I went to see Santa yesterday and I was such a good boy! No tears, no nothing! Actually, now that I think about it I was pretty disinterested and suspicious of the whole affair.

Happy Birthday Julia and Grandpop Phillips!

I wanted to send some very special birthday wishes to my cousin Julia in Mendham, NJ! Julia turns 9 today!








Also, we can't forget Grandpop Phillips whose birthday was December 6th! You're looking so stylish Grandpop! :-)








And since I'm giving props to everyone I may as well share the news that today I turn 3 months old. Yipeee!!!

Position "A"

As you can see from yesterdays post, I sometimes act like a fussy-Gus. Who can blame me though- I'm a BABY folks! When I turn into a writhing nut I sometimes need a little calming. In this case we have a 'go-to' position that we like to call 'Position A'. It is quite simple....




1. Place me on your knee












2. I will kindly turn my head to the right (do not ask me to turn to the left, it ain't happening!)










3. Pat my butt with your hand

Viola! I am the most jubilant baby there is :-)

Head Control

I admit it. I'm a wimp when it comes to tummy time. Well actually, I don't even try. And when I do I squeal like a pig. I can't help it if my head size is in the 90th percentile!

The Claw

I'm learning to grip things with my hands. While I can't hold too many objects I do a pretty good job with my buddy, the monkey here. It may be because he weighs like 1 ounce (I get my noodle arms from Mommy). Or it could be the fact that his tail curls around my hand so I don't have to do any work.

Below is a video of me and the monkey in action!! Daddy is ever so kind by making me continue endure the wrath of the jungle. (Notice that at no point did I lose my strong grip!)

Windstorms Aren't for Babies!

We never got that snow or ice like they predicted. However, we did get a pretty nasty wind storm tonight! Mommy and Daddy took me to mass at The Immaculate Conception downtown. That is me and Daddy on the stairs. Right after this picture was taken my blanket flew down the stairs, the stroller collapsed, and Mommy blew into a pole.


To be honest, I was quite terrified of the whole experience!! Wouldn't you know it, Mommy was kind enough to capture my fear on camera.

Lumberjack Ben

I heard it may snow tonight. Or at least ice. Well, maybe it is just suppose to rain. Either way I'm ready to help dad shovel the driveway!!

I am such a big boy these days. Last night I slept 8 straight hours (go ME!). It would appear as though I'm a mover and a shaker at night- I cover a lot of ground in my crib! Mommy and Daddy did make an interesting discovery, however, when they would check on me in the middle of the night. Here are their findings!

Ben Welcomes Addison Grace!!

Ben would like to welcome his newest gal-pal! Addison Grace Williams arrived December 7th weighing in at 8 lbs, 2 oz and 19 and 3/4 inches long. Congrats to proud parents Aimee and Jeremy, and big brother Jackson!

The Freaks Come Out at Night
