AJ Turns 5!

We had a great birthday party for AJ at C3 Cyber Club.  He invited just 3 of his closest buddies to keep things intimate, it was a great success!!

AJ requested a Mario theme which was perfect given the location.  His buddy Luke even shared his own Mario had and mustache!

Even the grownups had a great time!!  (Especially Uncle Jon)

Happy birthday AJ, we are so proud of you and are excited to see what your future holds!

Ben Turns SIX

I originally wanted to do a very small birthday party for Ben.  But believe it or not, he's made so many friends over the summer that he wanted to include it became somewhat of a celebration!

What normally would have been a stressful experience turned out to be a great time for him.  Several friends from preschool, childhood friends, friends he made over the summer, and even a new bus-pal joined his party at Curiosity Zone.  Ben's love for science and Legos made for a great time.

After his party Uncle Jon and Aunt Cori joined us at home with Seth's parents for some quality time together and Jon helped assemble most of Ben's lego presents :-)

Happy Birthday Ben - you continue to amaze me with your continued growth, confidence, and love.  I love you!!

Happy Birthday to Kara!

Our awesome and loving Nanny invited the boys to the local rec pool for us to celebrate her birthday in style.  She ensured lots of yummy treats and gave everyone all the attention they deserve.  Happy Birthday Kara, we are so glad you put up with our family!!  xo

Port Discovery!

Last weekend the boys cashed in their 'Golden Ticket' that Uncle Jon and Aunt Cori gave them for their birthdays.  The ticket included their first REAL train ride on the Amtrak from DC to Baltimore and admission to Port Discovery, an interactive children's museum.  We enjoyed a brief lunch at Union Station before boarding!!

It was a long day but the boys had a BLAST.  The entire train ride they squealed with excitement as we  switched tracks, went through tunnels, and of course, when the conductor came to punch their ticket.

Port Discovery was great.  There was lots to keep them entertained and active.  Trains, water play, soccer, giant playground, dying yawn (oops, I meant yarn), and playing with puppet.

A donut at Penn Station and riding in the dinning car on the trip home rounded out our fun day.  AJ passed out the moment we left DC.

Thank you Uncle Jon and Aunt Cori.  This was a memorable adventure they will never forget!!!
