Santa was good to the boys this year!! 

Thomas got a play kitchen!

Ben got a lego train!

AJ got a Nintendo DS.  And they all got lots of games too!

Holiday Celebrations with the Boys!

We had some great celebrations with the boys at their school before the break.  Thomas got to join AJ at his preschool party while I popped over to Ben's K-Wild celebration!

Ben sang a great little jingle with his friends then we got to see the kids decorate the large spruce tree with bird feeders.   

Later that afternoon I got to join Ben at his kindergarten class where we got ice cream sundaes!

Our CBS celebration was after the break, but still sweet as can be!!

A Surprise Visitor!!

Look who came to visit tonight!!  SANTA!  He brought the boys each an ornament for the tree, as he does every year.  This was the first year the boys weren't nervous around Santa and it was a great time for everyone!

Santa Train

This past weekend we took the boys up to Walkerville to ride the "Santa Train".  Santa came by briefly to chat with the boys and girls and they were able to tell him their wish list. 

AJ asked for so many things I can't remember what he's getting.

 Overall, good trip!!

Thanksgiving 2013

Happy Thanksgiving - the boys had a great time at Nana and Grandpa's and were spoiled by Aunt Cori & Uncle Jon, as always!

Halloween 2013

30 minutes wrestling Thomas into a costume (if you could call it a costume), 20 minutes fighting on who got which candy sack, 10 minutes crying over a lost flashlight, 5 minutes complaining of rain. AJ never even left the house to go Trick or Treating (he was too scared) and Thomas quit after 3 minutes.  

We tried to get Thomas into Toad (no luck), Angry Bird (he picked it), a cowboy (he picked that too) and finally we just settled on this hat with a train whistle.

July 4th

Our kind friends Mark and Meredith invited us over for the 4th of July.  The boys had a blast with their buddy Luke.  Him and Ben just 'get each other'.  It's so awesome to see them having fun together!  The boys also witnessed their first fireworks show.  AJ was brave, Ben was a little nervous, but they had fun non the less!  

Memorial Day Weekend!

We had a nice weekend.  Started off with a neighborhood BBQ.  We've lived here 3 years but haven't met too many neighbors (I've been busy changing diapers!) but it was great for the boys to meet a few friends their age.  

We had a relaxing Memorial Day at Leesburg Animal Park, the weather was perfect and packed a picnic lunch to enjoy.  Thomas especially loved the animals!!   

AJ wasn't so sure. 

Regardless they had a great time.

 

 

 

Egg Hunt!

Today we took the boys up to the area high school for their HS fundraiser.  They held a great egg hunt with lots of moon bounces, animals, games, and food!  It was really cold out but the kids had a great time regardless.  Definitely something we will plan on attending in the future!
