Swimming!

The boys have done so well this past year with swimming!  Even Thomas had lessons and loved the water!!  We have swim camps coming up this summer for everyone too.

Soccer 2013

This spring the boys played soccer.  Their skills are coming along!  This year they were on a seperate teams which was something they aren't used to!  Ben was on the team with his buddy Owen and AJ played with his buddy Brayden.

AJ loved soccer but lost steam before the scrimmage.  Also, he doesn't do well if he isn't the first to finish relays.

Ben & AJ have been taking swim lessons the past few weeks through Swim Kids.  I can't tell you enough how proud I am of them, and how impressed I've been with the instructors and program at Swim Kids.

Even Thomas is used to our time watching big brothers learn new skills and he is happy to cheer them on!

                                     

The boys have also been doing a sports camp through the community center (with buddies Caleb & Owen) where every few weeks they learn a new sport.  They first learned football, this week they start T-ball and we'll finish with soccer.

 And then there is T, always ready to get involved!!

Labor Day Weekend Fun

Late on getting my blog updated!!  Labor Day we had a nice time!!  First Seth took Ben & AJ to the Maryland Game!  This was AJ's first game and trip to College Park.  They had a blast.

Meanwhile T and I had some QT walking and playing.

Sunday we went to Uncle Jon's Crabfest in Oakton then the Alexanders end of summer housewarming party.  We are happy to have them as our neighbors!!

We rounded out Labor Day with a treat from Dunkin Donuts, crazy mayhem at Sport Bounce, and CiCi's Pizza for dinner.

Hello Fall!!

Soccer Stars

Today the boys had their last soccer practice of the season.  This year we had a waiver to have Ben & AJ play on the same team (Ben played with AJ's age group).  It worked out well and both boys actually took an interest in playing.  AJ was the chatterbox of the group and always first in line to start drills.  Ben was the team all-star but tired after 5 minutes.

 

And snack time was always their favorite part of practice!

I'm excited to see what next year bring them!!  Especially for Thomas... who will hopefully enjoy more than eating grass at their games.

Football Season!

Today Ben joined Seth for his first real football game at UMD. Including tailgating, touring the campus, and watching from the stands. He had a wonderful time, despite MD not pulling off the W against WVU. Here they are getting ready to leave for the game...

Notice, Ben is only holding TWO tickets. AJ wasn't too happy when he heard he wasn't going to get to join them...

So, insteand he stayed back with me and Thomas and rooted for the Hokies who won their game against Arkansas State. Now THAT'S a winning smile!

Okay, it's official - we're enrolling him in Catholic school...
