You Aren't What You Eat!

So, if you didn't already know, when I was pregnant with Ben, I drank a milkshake at least twice weekly.

Ben had a milk allergy.

With my pregnancy with AJ I ate pizza 3+ times a week.

AJ is perpetually constipated.

So what was my guilty pleasure with Thomas and what was his luck? Gummy bears. Is it a coincidence the poor baby has a sucrose intolerance?

The biopsy results from his endoscopy showed everything else as normal, thankfully, and hopefully this too, shall pass!

Take Five!

Today Thomas is scheduled for an endoscopy at Loudoun. This is our 5th endoscopy over the years so I guess you could say we're old pros. Or you could just assume that we are the financial supporter to Dr. Sirlin's summer beach home!

Please keep Thomas in your prayers today!

Hershey Park

Today Marisa and I took the boys to Hershey Park to meet up with my sister (Aunt Brooke) and Ben & AJ's cousins (Kate, Harry and Julia). First, let me introduce you to Marisa. She is our part-time nanny and has been a lifesaver. She started with us back in March when I was on bed rest and has been coming weekly to help man the fort. We all love her dearly!

Here is a photo of the boys with their cousins! It was so nice of them to ride the kiddie rides for a few hours. Harry, Julia and Kate traveled from NJ to see us! The boys loved spending time with them.

I am SO SO proud of Ben & AJ. They went on every ride we took them to. Granted Ben was a little nervous about some of the loud sounds but it never stopped him from smiling or trying the next ride.

It was a LONG exhausting day but they never complained and really enjoyed the park. I can't wait for our next trip!

Thank you to Brooke, Harry, Julia, Kate, Marisa (and Grandmom for watching Thomas all day!!) for making our trip extra special and memorable!

Potty Training in a Day?

God has had mercy on us! After trudging through 2 weeks of Hell with potty training Ben I am pleased to say that AJ has taken to the potty quite well. In a matter of 2 hours he was trained to go pee on the potty and needs no reminders! With only one accident all week I am quite confident he has mastered #2 too! (Famous last words, right?!)

(AJ sporting his 'Diego Go' big boy pants)

I guess this makes up for all the other crap he's put us through.... Good work buddy, we love you!
