Off my "A-game" and a few other small announcements....

Where has summer gone? Whoa! While updating the blog has been on my mind, it hasn't been at the top of my "to-do" list these days!

First, the explanation.

Surprise!!! Ben likes to call this "the blob". This is, in fact, baby #3 who is due to arrive next Spring. If we thought having two kids under two was tough, I can only imagine three under three and a half!

So that explains, some, if not most of why I've been slacking. I'm tired, nauseous, and would rather stuff my face with Snickers minis and leftover pizza then update the 4 fans I have on my life.

Second, the therapist.

After our crazy beach trip we decide to see a developmental psychologist to help us better understand and address Ben's quirky behaviors and make sure I am doing my part to ensure he's a happy kid. His obsession with having his cup perfectly upright in bed or the ability to remember things when he was essentially in the womb was astonishing. And why in the Hell is he so damn obsessed with trains!? Final diagnosis? The kid is especially bright and his obsessions and frustrations are modeled from Mom and Dad. What?! Who would a thought our obsessive Type-A genes and anal nature of sweeping the crumbs before they fall from his little hands would have such an impact?! Well it did, folks. The treatment was for Seth and I to take a step back, relax, and let the boy be a boy. While 'relaxing' is not something I'm used to, I'm trying. Hence, less internet time and more Jersey Shore. Ooops, did that slip out?

Lastly, business is better. And I'm not talking real estate! Without much effort my entire Sept and Oct is calendar is booked with photo sessions. Since I am pooping my pants at the thought of being paid for my 'professional' services I thought I'd better invest in some good training. So at night I spend all of my spare time reading up on "Finding the Light" and learning the elementary procedures of composite photos (such as repositioning this Zebra out of Africa and into a London mall). This will come in handy when I want to photoshop my head on my pre-pregnancy body after baby #3 arrives.

All in all, we're doing well around the Sinclair household!! More updates to come next week. Less text and more photos. I promise!
