This weekend we took the boys to Dutch Wonderland. This was the 2nd trip to Dutch Wonderland for Ben & AJ but first for Thomas. I've filed this under 'Fun Times' - perhaps I should add the category 'Bittersweet'. A fun adventure with my kids always involves some sort of struggle. We've had a VERY LONG MAY with sickness. Virus, colds, pneumonia, virus, ear infections, sinus infections, more viruses and croup. The boys weren't doing well Friday but seemed to perk up Saturday morning so we went for it.
Thomas really enjoyed himself - though he wasn't feeling his best. Through doses of Advil he managed to enjoy the watermark (he used these sprayers as a water fountain, be on the lookout for our update on strep throat) and ventured on a few rides as well.
Ben & AJ had their fears, as always, but did tackle the small coaster, giant swings, and a few other kiddie rides.
On the way home we stopped at the Cozy Inn for dinner as well. A nice long day to wear everyone out!!
